Commission Structure
Get paid what your worth!
Weekly Draw against your commission
Project Managers that close at least 25% of Door knocks are eligible for a draw. When you self generate a lead through canvassing, Texco pays you $100 on Monday. Get on three roofs collect $300. This will go down as part of your pre-commission on a sold job. To become eligible for the draw, the door knock must be put into our CRM. If it is not sold now, this will become a future lead next time a storm hits the property.
This is how you calculate your commission.
You will earn 70% of the profit pool. If you generate over $30000 in a month you will earn an additional 10% bonus. The only exception is solar panels. For Solar Panels the company and the project manager split profit 50/50 after overhead and profit
How is the 70% Commission structured
There are five parts to every sale. Each is worth 14%. 1
1) The appointment - If you self generate the 14% is yours. If you receive the lead from another source, that source receives the 14%. Example - A canvasser sets you an appointment that you sell. The canvasser will take 14% commission for this project. If you recruit the canvasser, you would have the opportunity to close all of their deals.
2) The Sale - The sale is complete when you create a new project and download the contingency agreement into the CRM. You will be taking pictures of the property during the sale, adjuster meeting, and site management. PIctures are a very important part of the job. All pictures will be in Company Cam.
3) The Adjuster Meeting through Scope 2 - This is where you get paid. This process will set the value of the claim. You will be working with the adjuster, supplementers, and appraisers to maximize the value of the claim. The higher the claim, the higher the commission.
4) The Work Order - Here you and the homeowner will agree on a scope of work. Texco Roofs invoices for the work we do. The homeowner may keep funds for work we do not do. There is a supplement fee of 20% for items that are added to the scope that Texco Roofs does not complete. We have to pay our supplementer for the increase in value from Scope 1 to Scope 2.
5) Site management - Here you will take tear off and completion pictures. Items hidden under the shingles may bring money to the claim. We must have pictures of such items to charge the insurance company. There are also times when our workers need material not provided in the supply order. Project managers go to home improvement center, pay for the item with company debit card, and make sure workers have everything they need. Pictures, pictures, pictures!
When do I get paid?
We do payday on Mondays. Files that are complete by the end of the week (Sunday) are eligible for final payment. Pre-commissions are also available. In order to receive a pre-commission the job must be profitable based on our job estimate. You may receive pre-commission for the appointment and the sale (up to 28%) if we have collected enough money to cover materials, supplies, and your pre-commission.
Once the job is finished, compliance will send the Certificate of Completion to the insurance company, the customer will receive their TDI form, and the Atlas Warranty will be registered. When those items are completed you will receive your post commission.
How to calculate profit pool
Texco Roofs will always take out 20% of the amount collected as overhead and profit. Then subtract the cost of supplies and contracted labor including supplements, appraisal fees, etc. This calculated number is the profit pool. Multiply this by your commission percentage and that is your number for all trades other than Solar.
For Solar detach and reset, it is all labor. You would take out the 20% overhead and profit, subtract the labor, and multiply by 50%.
Develop a Downline
You may put Project Managers under you. If you recruit a Project Manager you become their mentor. As a Senior Project Manager, you earn your 10% by ensuring that the CRM is complete, Warranties are filed with Atlas, the customer has their TDI form for insurance discounts, and all bills are paid. Senior Project Managers must be able to navigate the CRM to receive the 10%.
